Claire J. Hilliard founded C.J. Hilliard Law, P.A. to provide quality legal representation for families needing legal advocacy. As the child of a law enforcement officer, she has a strong sense of community and is aware of the difficulties associated with family law matters. In addition, we regularly defend clients’ rights in same-sex family law issues. Historically, this has been a complicated practice area. However, recent legislation has granted same-sex parents the same legal rights as opposite-sex parents. The law now grants divorces to same-sex couples on the same basis as they grant divorce to opposite-sex couples.

Claire J. Hilliard attended the University of Central Florida where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Political Science. She earned her Juris Doctor degree at Barry University, Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law. Attorney Claire J. Hilliard is a member of the Orange County Bar Association, the Florida Bar Association, Young Lawyer’s Division, and the Florida Bar Association, Family Law Section.
